Ladies, what would you say if we told you that WE were going to build a house? You may not know how to lay a foundation, install plumbing or insulate a roof, but that doesn't mean that you can't make a difference for a local Habitat family and contribute towards the construction of their home!
Women in our community are coming together to build a home in 2018. You can be a part of this build without getting a speck of dust in your hair, grout under your fingernails or without sweating a drop in the process. Of course, if you want to build alongside the family and the other sponsors, there are opportunites for that too!
BUILDING FAMILY FUTURES (BFF Club) is the newest venture for Coastal Empire Habitat for Humanity. The goal of the BFF Club is to bring women in our community together to enact long-lasting and meaningful change in the Coastal Empire. We will do this through 200 club members contributing a $50 per month pledge, plus matching grant funds. Our total fundraising goal is $60,000.
We are inviting you to participate in this exciting new project at any level of involvement you wish. BFF Club members may commit to the monthly pledge of $50 or can make a one-time contribution. By joining the BFF Club, you will be invited to exclusive quarterly female driven networking events, will have the opportunity to meet the Habitat family that you are sponsoring, will be invited to house events such as the groundbreaking and dedication ceremonies, and will have the option of participating in our annual Women Build, where you and other club members will spend half a day volunteering on the construction site for the home that you are building!
Even if you choose not to wield hammers or power tools, you will have the opportunity to build relationships with other women in our community who desire to make a difference in the life of a deserving family.
At Coastal Empire Habitat for Humanity, we partner with hard working families to build strength, stability, and self-reliance through shelter. Ladies, you too, will be making your mark on our community by partnering with us and Building Family Futures.
